Australian Glass Group (AGG)

Sometimes you know exactly what you want and where to get it and that’s why Australian Glass Group (AGG) specifically sent their Isuzu chassis over to New Zealand from Australia for a little bit of kiwi magic.

Glasstranz, known for their special glass truck bodies were tasked with making the curtainside unit. Whist Tarpaulin Makers had the pleasure of manufacturing a custom set of curtains, digitally printed with AGG’s logo and to supply vinyl stickers for the hard body rear wall of this unit. Despite the distance, we worked closely with their graphics & marketing team, based in Australia, to ensure everything was consistent with the AGG brand identity.

With the unit due on a ship bound for Australia by the end of the day timing was crucial. Beni, who is always up for a challenge, was up at 3.30am to ensure he was in Auckland knocking on the door of Glasstranz at 7am when they open the doors. Beni and his team pulled out all the stops to get these truck curtainsiders fitted and out the door on time.

As always, it was a pleasure working with Scott Vermeulen from Glasstranz, and his team of professional engineers, on site to complete this Trans-Tasman project.
